Mission
Over sixty years ago Jacques Yves-Cousteau dedicated his life to exploration and awareness of the planet. His son, Philippe Cousteau, Sr., expanded this mission by dedicating his life to understanding people's connection to their environment. Today, Philippe Cousteau, Jr. recognizes a broad range of global environmental and social issues and the opportunity and need to synthesize them in new ways. This is accomplished through experiences and media that empower all people to take action to be positive stewards of the planet.
Philippe is continuing the work of his father through Azure Worldwide, a natural extension of his non-profit organization EarthEcho International whose mission is 'to foster extraordinary leaders to take action to restore and protect our oceans.'
